Hospital Managment: Industry Expert Session (Mr. Mehernosh B.Dittia)


Hospital management courseINLEAD conducted an Industry Expert Session for April and October 2012 HCA batch students on 27th November 2012. The session was conducted by Mr. Mehernosh B.Dittia, V P - Talent Development, Max Healthcare. The topic of the session was Quality Professionals in Healthcare Industry and helped students to understand how customers today are more aware of eminent services and are ready to pay a price for it to make sure they get an environment at par with an upscale hotel property. Mr. Dittia is a senior professional with over 22 years of working experience in Sales, Customer Care, Service Excellence and Quality, SOPs, HR & Training with organizations of high repute. Mr. Dittia completed his management education from Xavier Institute of Management and Institute of Marketing & Management. He has worked extensively in Healthcare Industry and brings with him, invaluable corporate insights from the Healthcare industry.


hospital management instituteMr. Dittia’s presented a number of healthcare industry stats that helped students to get aware of the immense potential that this industry has for the upcoming healthcare professionals. Throughout the session Mr. Dittia emphasized on the fact that attitude and communication are two very important qualities required in an administrator’s job profile. According to him quality service is all about increasing the quality of interaction that a patient has with a healthcare provider during his stay in the hospital. The session helped students to understand that from an administrator’s perspective it is his/her duty to take care of the patients Psychological and Emotional state apart from the physical well being. He feels that Patient Relations is an important part in an administrator job profile, as in the end they are the ambassadors of your healthcare organization. By and large the entire session was reasonably interactive and Mr. Dittia shared some valuable inputs about the quality professionals with the students from both the batches.
