Management Student - LEAD Activity: Cast My Reality

INLEAD conducted a LEAD activity “Cast My Reality” in its campus for the January 2013 Batch. It was a leisure activity meticulously designed by faculties at INLEAD, for all the students of Jan batch to gel well with each other and certainly was aimed to bring out an individual’s persona with some exhilarating performances during the show. The activity contained all the Masala from a reality show entertainer to a series of 60 second challenges, building a lot of excitement among the viewers.

Teams were carved out from the entire Jan 2013 batch and each one of them was to come up with a spoof of 20 minutes on some fascinating situations that were given to them. The reality show topics were: ‘A Minute to Win it’, ‘India’s Got Talent’, ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and ‘Big Boss’. The students were appraised on various parameters like Props/Stage set up, eye for detail, Costumes & Makeup, Music, Dialogue Delivery, Team Coordination, Creativity, Audience Entertainment etc. The entire activity had lot of liveliness and was full of enthusiastic performances.

According To Rohit Kukreti, Advertising & Public Relations student at INLEAD, “It was really a great experience… thanks to all my respected faculties for making such an atmosphere there... it’ll certainly help us somewhere….thank you so much.”

The major purpose of the activity was to focus on an individual’s aptitude and attitude levels and helping these young budding professionals in bringing out some breath taking performances on the stage.

According to Suman Paul, Healthcare Administration student at INLEAD, “I think it was a platform to come out of shell & get rid of your fear to face the audience. It helped me to become a good public speaker.”

At the end of the show after some awe-inspiring performances, to say the least, the faction performing ‘ Big Boss ‘ won the First Prize & Best Performer title was bagged by Samrat Sharma & Vishal Teotia.
