Hospital Management: Industry Visit - Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital

On 8^th June 2012 INLEAD conducted an Industry visit to Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital for its Healthcare Administration students. The visit was intended to give a practical and theoretical exposure of the Blood Bank Services in the hospitals. Dr Anupam Chabbra, HOD of the Blood Bank department at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital had shared his expertise with the students and gave a detailed tour to the students. The industry exposure helped students to get a clear idea of the functioning of the department, equipment required, staffing pattern, planning considerations & the role of a manager in the blood bank.
