EMPR Students Participate in Direct Dil Se: LIVE Concert by Lucky Ali @ Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon

Direct Dil Se' is a festival with the effort of Alok Nagpal of Rock Castle Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The first edition of the festival in the year 2013 featured best of the Artist from India 

The festival retains its promise to connect hearts with most soulful voices ever heard in our country. Featuring the evergreen "LUCKY ALI" the man who has won hearts all over the world with his husky voice. Lucky's music is the reflection of his love for pure music which is inspired by his travelling stories, his work experiences in the oil rigs, Horse Farming and many more across the world.


Students pursuing Event Management & Public Relations were responsible for event operations and production at Kingdom of Dreams, India’s one and only live entertainment destination which celebrated the onset of the festive season with the second edition of Direct Dil Se concert on 27th September 2014. The Direct Dil Se concert celebrating the World Heart Day will set the tone for the Music Festival Season, as numerous others will follow it. 

Retaining its promise to connect hearts with the most soulful voices ever heard in India and across the globe the musical bonanza will bring together artistes Lucky Ali, Kutle Khan & Dhruv Sufi (Coke Studio) and Ashish Chauhan & Gurdeep Mehendi (Fox Traveller Artist) in a musical revelry that promises to be a memorable and unforgettable evening! Lucky Ali, actor, singer-songwriter, musician, composer, record producer and a philanthropist will weave magic with his ballads sung in a silken voice and soft tenor.

Kutle Khan a Coke Studio artiste and a versatile composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from the rich and vibrant state of Rajasthan will enthrall the audience with his music full of energy and verve, where he fuses traditional folk sounds with other Indian and Western traditions.

Ashish Chauhan and Gurdeep Mehndi both will create new sounds with a variety of Musical Instruments while the classical knowledge and voice of Gurdeep will render their jugalbandi a totally new colour. The duo is famous for blending Western elements of Rock, Funk, Blues, Jazz with Sufi and Punjabi folk songs. They are known for their work on old and evergreen songs and presenting them in a totally new avatar! Their popular numbers like Jugni, Tutak Tutak, Dama Dam, Bulla and other Sufi and Punjabi and Hindi Folk songs will enrapture the listeners in an evening straight from the heart and mesmerising. 

A surfeit of music and fine artistes, all brought together on a magical and surreal evening in the mystical wonderland Kingdom of Dreams.
